Describing people!

In 4ºA we have been learning lots of vocabulary to describe people and what they can do!

We practised asking and responding to the question 'Can you....?' using this song. Have a listen and follow along with the actions!

We also learnt how to talk about things that belong to us using the verb 'have got' and the possessive pronouns (my/your/his/her/its/our/their).

Have another go at this fun little Toy Story game (link below) and see if you can remember all the names of the toys we have looked at :)

Family

In 5 Años we have been learning all about the family with this finger family song! We even made our own finger puppets (Daddy, Mummy, Brother, Sister, Baby) to sing along with!

I Am Thankful For...

Last week, students in 5th and 6th grade learned about the important U.S. holiday, Thanksgiving! It is a day to spend time with family and friends, eat lots of tasty, traditional Thanksgiving food, and to think about all that you are thankful for in your life.

After learning about Thanksgiving´s history and traditions, students took the time to think about what they are grateful for in their own lives. Then, they created "Thankful Turkeys" using their hands, and wrote what they are thankful for. Check out some of the beautiful examples below!

Students also listened to the popular Thanksgiving book, Run, Turkey, Run! Read along with the story here.

See the Phineas and Ferb PowerPoint below to review speaking about daily routines and the time of day. At the end of the PowerPoint, unscramble the sentences by putting the words in the correct order.

Additional practice!

For more review, practice forming sentences by choosing the correct words to describe the pictures shown. Have fun!!
